The founder of Hidrovetes, Gregory Zoltán Botos, was born and raised in the United States. After graduating from Indiana University in 1992, he came to Hungary.

Having been born in the US, Greg was familiar with hydro seeding technology. One day, he was explaining to a friend how easy it is to seed grass using the hydro seeding technology and how much cheaper it was when compared to sod. His Hungarian friends had never heard of this before, therefore Greg contacted numerous gardeners in Hungary, Austria, Slovakia and other parts of Eastern Central Europe.

Some had heard of hydro seeding, but none had actually seen it. Greg new that bringing this environmentally correct and state of the art technology to Hungary and the rest of East-Central Europe, was not only an opportunity, but an obligation.

After a full year of researching the topic, Greg contracted with Turbo Technologies Ltd. (Turbo Turf), who he found to be the best manufacturer of hydro seeding systems and supplies.

Hidrovetes Ltd (Hydroseeding Ltd) now has retailers in Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Latvia and Saudi Arabia!
